An excellent two days Introduction to Floristry for beginners at The Flower and Balloon Company for anyone wanting to start on a floral journey. You will learn the foundations of floral design and will make and take home beautiful floral designs using seasonal flowers where possible

All the course material and the flowers that you will work with are included. All you need to do is arrive at The Flower and Balloon Company, have enthusiasm and the passion for learning. We will walk you through every step of your learning experience.

Our classes run for 3 hours per day and At the end of day 2, you will learn

Elements and principles of floristry
The importance of color
Conditioning and selecting flowers
Seasonal vase/jug arrangement
Simple bouquet

Single Rose Design
Foliage/flower hair accessory

This class is particularly useful for students who are considering going into retail, wedding or event floristry. We aim to give you the best possible start in your new venture and will share tips and tricks of our trade.

Students who attend this class may wish to progress onto our Wedding Floristry course or choose some of the alternative course/workshop options available. After completing a series of courses, workshops or one to one tuition, students can progress to starting their own business as well as working in the floristry industry in other capacities.

This course is designed for beginners. For students who have some experience you may wish to take part in some of our other courses and workshops designed for students with some floristry experience.

The atmosphere at The Flower and Balloon Company is relaxed and informal, while you learn to use beautiful flowers, taught by our UK qualified and experienced florist and tutor.

All materials are included, but you can purchase floral tools and essentials from us so you can continue practicing at home.
